  Temple-stay WAQOO Mii-dera Temple

  A shukubo at Mii-dera Temple, which was opened more than 1300 years ago to worship Emperor Tenji's memorial Buddha. Located in a vast site on the hillside of Nagarasan in the southwestern part of Lake Biwa in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, Onjoji Temple (Mii-dera Temple) has a history of 1,300 years. Since the Heian period, it has been regarded as one of the four major temples along with Todaiji Temple, Kofukuji Temple, and Enryakuji Temple. We have 64 national treasures and 720 demand cultural properties. He has a close relationship with Sengoku daimyo such as Nobunaga Oda, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, Ieyasu Tokugawa, and Terumoto Mori. Standing in the precincts of Mii-dera Temple for over 400 years, In recent years, you can use "Myogonin", which has played an important role as a monk, as a shukubo. Limited to one group per day.
